summer 2009 in Columbus! |
Old Columbus Herb Farm is located in the pastoral rolling hills of southwest
Arkansas in one of the oldest settlements in the state.
Columbus is just a few miles west of Old Washington State Park,
the birthplace of the famous Bowie knife and an historic and
important stop on the rugged Southwest Trail as pioneers,
including Sam Houston and Davy Crockett, made their way to the new
Territories. |

Traditionally Old
Columbus Herb and Plant Farm has been a wholesale grower of
herbs, perennial flowers, and scented geraniums.
However, in March of 2006 we made the decision to open the
farm to the public. In preparation for this change, we
greatly expanded our product line, enhanced and expanded the
gardens at the farm and established regular hours during the
spring and fall seasons. |
